As you can see in the picture, an old
man has fallen down on the groundaccidentally, but the passers-by are unwilling to help him for fear that they willbe misunderstood and get into trouble. However, in my opinion, we should give ahand to the aged people who need help.
Forone thing, helping and taking care of the old is one of China's traditionalvirtues, which should be encouraged all the time. For another, nobody in theworld can live without care and help from others. When we are in trouble, wealso need others' help. Meanwhile, efforts should be made to protect those whoprovide help. Only in this way can we make the world a better place to live infor everyone.

Therefore, many people believe that it’s very hard if not impossible to improve your vision naturally as you get older due to concerns that the visual system begins to deteriorate at that stage of life. These people also believe they’re stuck with their glasses or contacts for life. So the question is: can aging prevent you from improving your vision naturally?
The answer to that question is no. While aging is inevitable, when it comes to improving, protecting and preserving your precious eyesight, there are things you can do to reduce or slow the negative effects of aging on the visual system. For instance, you can take preventive steps in terms of nutrition and eye exercises that can reduce the negative effects of aging on the eyes.
These simple and easy to perform techniques make the visual system stronger, therefore helping you to improve your vision. They also improve the focusing power of the eyes through vision training eye exercise techniques. Additionally, eye exercises can improve blood flow and circulation to the visual system, therefore improving your eyesight. The question is: can these eye exercises help improve vision even in older people? Well, the answer to this question is yes.

阅读理解:When we watch politicians, or business leaders

When we watch politicians, or business leaders speak on television or in public, they seem so at ease that we may wonder: are great speakers made, or are they just born that way? While it is true that some individuals are born with this gift, many effective public speakers have trained themselves to be so- 15 Here are some principles of public speaking that I've developed in my role as a media coach.
Stop trying to be a great “public“ speaker. People want to listen to someone who is interesting, relaxed, and comfortable. In the routine conversations we have every day, we have no problem being ourselves.
16 We focus on the “public” at the expense of the "speaking”. To become effective at public speaking, you must do just the opposite: focus on the speaking and let go of the “public”.
When you make a mistake, no one cares but you. Even the most accomplished public speaker will make a mistake at some point. Just keep in mind that you'11 notice more than anyone in your audience- 17 .

Authors Kyle Kurpinski and Terry D. Johnson pretty much have me convinced that human cloning is quite possible and is a future certainty. Kurpinski and Johnson are both bioengineering experts; unlike similar scientists you have seen in the movies, they both have a sense of humor. What surprises me is that Kurpinski and Johnson are able to take something as complicated as DNA and make it understandable.
The book Ho w to Defeat Your O w n Clone teaches us what is now known as DNA-encoded (编码), how that happens, and why people with similar DNA don't look or act the same. The book not only helps us get a basic understanding of what DNA and its purpose are, but also explains cloning and stem cell (干细胞) research. It occurs to me that a lot of people who are against stem cell research don't know what they are protesting about. The authors provide a history of cloning, as well as information about stem cells.
The real fun starts when the authors attack various myths about cloning.Obviously, too many people have been watching too many bad movies and television programs.Remember they're just fictional stories. If,somehow, scientists manage to clone you, twenty years from now your clone isn't going to kill you. Among the myths explored and exploded are that a clone will know everything you know and will act as you do, that heads which are cut off can be kept alive, and that a clone has no belly button (肚脐). Many of the myths are ridiculous but many people believe them.
Kurpinski and Johnson also detail some bio-improvements “that really work”. You see, genes can be controlled to help you sleep better and become smarter, healthier, and taller.Well... not exactly you, but future generations.
If you do wind up in a battle with your own clone, who will be considerably younger than you, remember that it is not you and that it doesn't know what you know.
