It is important to learn business English if you are going to be successful in another country where English is the primary language. ①古代文艺理论家曾经给文学作品特别是诗词,划分了许多风格范畴,丰富了人们的审美感受,揭示

了诗人的创作个性与作品的艺术特色。其中有许多风格,如雄浑、冲淡、豪放、沉着、飘逸等等,在人们

头脑中大抵有个共同的清晰的认识。另外也还有一些在目前应用得很少,人们不太了解,而且含义较为复

杂。“清空”就是其中之一。

②清空主要是指一种经过艺术陶冶,在题材概括上淘尽渣滓从而表现为澄净精纯,在意境铸造上突出

诗人的冲淡襟怀从而表现为朴素自然的艺术特色。它说明作家立足之高和构思之深,表现为画面有余味、脉络婉转谐和,但最主要的还是含蓄与自然的交织、峭拔与流转的交织。

③清人戈载评论姜夔的几句话,可以说明“清空”特色。“白石之词,清气盘空,如野云孤飞,去留

无迹,其高远峭拔之致,前无古人,后无来者。”“清气”,说明作品审美情趣高雅;“盘空”,说明作品的

想象、情思和韵味不仅横溢太空,而且纡回萦绕,竭尽曲折婉转之美;“野云孤飞”、“去留无迹”,说明作

品意趣超逸不凡,表达空灵自然;“高远峭拔”,则说明取境之深、笔力之遒,饶有余味,富于顿挫。

④怎样才算清空,怎样便是背离清空呢?

⑤首先,从审美感受说,风格应该是幽深而不烦琐。作为清空风格的.幽深,就是指举重若轻地讲出“人

人心中所有”但却是“笔下所无”的话。而且幽深要与自然相结合,幽深的内容,要通过自然造化的形式

来表现。

⑥其次,从诗词节奏来说,清空的风格往往是以灵动取胜,而与板重相背离。所谓灵动,不外指作品

节奏给人们以和谐流动的美感:感情富于曲折,而以质朴明快的语言出之;结构饶有层次,但却统一在浑

然一气的境界之中。流转而不失之浮滑,律动和谐中包含着凝炼的风度,甚至峭拔的格调。

⑦再次,从语感说,清空风格的诗词,更多表现为质朴玲珑和潇洒纵横。锤炼精工、雕镂深刻、语气

蟠曲的作品,往往表现为邃密、峭拔、典雅、古奥的风格,它们的境界未始不绵密奇幻,但有的却不免迷

茫艰涩;语言未始不精警遒炼,但有的却失之诘屈聱牙,难以上口。而清空的作品则语言质朴,摒弃雕饰

之繁,“状难状之景,达难达之情,而出之以自然”。

⑧总的来说,清空的思想基础,首先应该是具有高超、洒脱的情趣,像清风徐来,山泉汩汩。清空的

作品,其境界必有高度,不是“振衣千仞冈,濯足万里流”那种高旷骏迈,也不是“乘风好去,长空万里,

直下看山河”那样的昂扬激荡。其特色是:秀劲中见挺拔,飘洒中寓沉着,优美中含有某些崇高因素。

④对一个生命意识与文化传统都深深扎根于黄土之中的民族来说,海洋或者是遥远的传说,或者就是

外敌侵入的风险。所以,明代虽然有郑和七下西洋的壮举,但他督造的七宝楼船,也只是中国历史上的一

个孤独的辉煌。郑和的故事,只有在今天中国人充分意识到海洋重要的时候,才被重新发掘出来,这个另

类的英雄才被真正地记忆。更能让我们刻骨铭心的历史是,同样是在明代,就在郑和七下西洋的船队消失

于海上之后不久,并非正规国家军队的倭寇,从海疆上不断地侵扰,居然成为明帝国的心腹大患。中国在

海洋上遭受屈辱,并不是到近代才有的事实,而是当中央之国尚称强大的时候就已经发生。明代,郑和的

船队至少到达了非洲。但在同一个明代,面对倭寇的骚扰,来自农耕文明的军队只是在陆地上筑起城墙,

而不是到广阔的大海上展开抵御外侮的战场。

⑤就在来自海上的倭寇之患平息不久,一个叫利玛窦的传教士经过漫长的充满风险的海上航行登陆中

国。他在书信中向自己远方的国人报告对这个新到国家的印象:“我们依然很难相信,一个疆域如此广阔

的庞大帝国,拥有的军队不计其数,却始终生活在持续不断的恐惧之中。”利玛窦还有些费解地指出:“他

们害怕那些小国家。”

⑥明代早已成为编年史的一个逝去的段落,但这种文化习性却带着巨大的惯性在持续着。对灾难与风

险,更多国人的选择是视而不见,或者遗忘。

⑦面对来自海洋的危险,封建帝王的选择是海禁。这让我想起一个二战时的故事。诺曼底登陆前夕,

盟军秘密集中了大量的舰船在英国海岸。舰船实在太多了,为了不走漏风声,艾森豪威尔为首的盟军司令

部,决定让英国沿海居民后撤一段距离。但这个决定引得丘吉尔首相愤怒咆哮:英国人的习惯从来就是逼

近,而不是离开海岸!不行,任何理由都不能让我们作出这样的决定!结果盟军不得不采取别的措施来保证

计划的施行。

⑧而在我们漫长的历史上,海洋只是海边渔民收获一点鱼虾的水上牧场,至多,也只是在故乡无以为

生的人们流浪异国求生的危险丛生的通道。使国人海洋意识苏醒,切肤感受到海洋主权之痛的是一部血腥的近代史,一个帝国幻梦的破灭,中华民族为此付出了巨大的代价!

⑨因此,南海总队这次巡航守礁的行为本身,就蕴涵了更为丰富的意义。一个后发的国家,开始意识

到海洋的重要,并且行动起来,开始维护自己天然的权利的时候,却因为曾经的被殖民,因为后发,因为

文化基因中海洋意识的缺乏,使一个国家维护主权的行为,也那么艰难曲折,波诡云谲,那么需要智慧与

坚定。好在,我们已经在海上了。海图上的航线虽然有些曲折,但终归是指向遥远海疆。我站在302船的

驾驶舱里,看到中国海上,台风过后,终于迎来壮美的日出!

⑩那时,我感到不是一艘船在劈波斩浪,而是整个中国,正在走向海洋!中国要走向世界,没有办法

不走向海洋!
